-SOLD- "Tamari" is a 2020, 16.1h (and growing!) unraced, dark bay filly. Tamari is by Tamarkuz, who is a son of the popular sire Speightstown, out of a Johannesburg mare. Tamari is a sensible, sweet filly that is easy to handle, and straightforward to ride, while also being super fancy!
Tamari has been lightly restarted under saddle, and demonstrates natural balance and a willing attitude. She is more of a push ride (but not overly so!) and has the most wonderful, soft mouth. She is starting to learn to stretch through her topline on the flat, and she hacks out quietly on a loose rein. Tamari has been through the jump chute, and we were blown away by her exceptional form and natural instincts. I could see this filly being a standout in the hunter ring, but is truly an excellent prospect for any discipline.
Tamari stands quietly on the crossties to be tacked up, groomed and bathed. She is really well put together, with a short back and lovely, elegant neck/topline, and kind eye. She is a lovely, correct mover with a canter to die for that is just so rhythmic and balanced. Tamari has great feet (just shod up front), zero vices and clean legs aside from an old splint that is cold and set.
Although Tamari is unraced, she does have published works, so is RRP eligible! Currently offered at 8k, subject to increase with further training.
