Luna is a 11 y/o Welsh Pony X Rocky Mountain mare (she is not gaited). Luna is sadly offered for sale to the best home as her owner has decided to retire from horses.
She stands at about 14h with a sturdy build. This mare has a very sweet personality and is easy to handle. She's a fast learner with no nasty or marish behavior. Luna has great manners and stands to be mounted.
Undersaddle she has 3 lovely gaits and is a very comfortable ride wtc. Luna has lots of experience trail riding. She has even foxhunted 3rd flight with Old Dominion Hounds several times where she has crossed covered bridges and streams no problem! She has completed 2 months of professional, consistent lateral ground work training and has done obstacle courses. She's also willing to jump!
Luna lunges, ties, bathes, loads, and stands for vet and farrier.
She is UTD on vaccines and coggins. She has no previous injuries, and sells 100% sound. She has great feet and goes barefoot. No vices. No kick or bite. Located in Luray, VA. Video coming soon!
