1 of our 2 barn staff is moving so we are looking for his replacement for a job that consists of horse care - cleaning stalls, bringing horses in/out, cleaning & refilling waters, sweeping, feeding, and driving the tractor are the main parts of the job.
Pay: $18/hour to start, $20/hour after 6 months with good performance
Requirements of the job:
Be able to drive to Jeffersonton (7 miles from Warrenton, 15-18 min from Culpeper)
MUST be comfortable leading & handling horses
Be able to drive a basic tractor or be willing & able to learn
Show up on time and be able to work outdoors even if weather is cold or hot or rainy etc
Able to lift 50+ lbs
Able to work independently
Able to work at least 3 days a week, 4-5 hours a day, in the morning highly preferred for most shifts.
There is room to bring a horse or 2 if you want to work off board in part.
There is no on-site housing available this time.
