Simple Changes therapeutic riding center in Lorton, VA is hiring! Simple Changes is an Accredited PATH center offering therapeutic riding, hippotherapy, mental health programs, senior programs and more. We believe in the power of the human-equine connection to support our clients, their families and the community. Simple Changes is seeking an organized and motivated individual to join the team for the following positions:
- Part time around 20 hrs/wk. W-2 employee. Mon-Fri. Primarily work from home, some time at the barn.
Responsibilities:
VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR ASSISTANT
Schedule volunteers for daily lessons
Recruit new volunteers
Assist in training new volunteers
Plan volunteer appreciation events
Assist E.D. with marketing materials
Oversee social media accounts
Assist with database, donation letters and other office work
In addition to the work listed above, if a candidate has one or more of the following certifications and skills, more hours or a full-time package could be discussed.
Teaching opportunities for individual with CTRI certification
ESHML certification to assist LCSW in EAP sessions
Feeding and cleaning stable for individual with horse experience.
